Dorothy's Dancing Unlimited
Dress Code:
Dancers must be dressed appropriately for class. Female students must wear a leotard and tights with their hair in a bun. Male students should wear basketball shorts or sweatpants and a comfortable shirt that is not too baggy. You can purchase everything you need from our online store. This dress code ensures that a teacher will be able to see a dancer’s alignment and positioning. Baggy clothing can mask bad habits, making corrections impossible. Appropriate footwear is required to ensure dancers are able to learn correct technique, while having proper support.
Our dress code will be strictly enforced. Students will not be allowed to dance if they are wearing improper attire. ABSOLUTELY NO bare legs, bra tops where the stomach is exposed, or street clothing allowed in any class. Hair must be secured in a bun. No jewelry, watches, or perfume may be worn.
PLEASE NOTE: If a student is not properly attired for class, they will be asked to change. (They may call home from the office to ask for clothing.) If you cannot afford leotards and tights for your student, please talk to someone in the office to see if there is donated dancewear available in the right size. If you have clean, gently used dancewear to donate, please bring it to the office.
